Hi everyone!

April 29th, 2022. we finally presented and defended our CarpeDiane project in front of Kedge Business School jury and we passed with flying colours.

In this post, we would like to introduce the team a bit better and let you know where we are with the project.

Diane, whose family is from Madagascar, inherited a piece of land with direct beach access and would like to develop a business aligned with her values. She wants to share her culture and promote her country. She strongly believes that in this fast-paced world, people need to reconnect with themselves and nature, slow down in order to recharge their batteries and participate to build a more positive world.

&

Philippe has lived in Asia and did regular detox retreats, yoga courses in specific resorts where customers would reconnect with themselves as well as live a unique and authentic experience getting to know local communities. He is a certified Thai Therapeutic Massage practitioner as well as Reiki Master.

We both decided to join forces and work on a business proposition that would be aligned with their values and support building a better world for both customers and local communities.

A regenerative business that would be fair and profitable, competitive and generous, efficient, customer focused and sustainable.

The president of our jury was Dr Roland Bel.

Roland Bel is Associate Professor of Strategy and Innovation at Kedge Business School since January 2007. Engineer in Computer Science from ENSIIE Paris and graduate from ESSEC business school (Paris), he holds a MBA from the Graduate School of Business, University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Sydney, where he taught courses in Economics and Strategy in 2005-2007, for the Master of Business and Master of International Business programs.
